Women’s Creative Recovery from Alcohol & Drugs Retreat 2021

Go to creative workshops, relax with yoga and meditation and soak up the beauty of the lake. We are 3 hours north of Detroit.Due to COVID-19, we will be keeping more of a physical distance & using more stringent sanitation practices.

Creative Workshops include: God/Prayer Box & Ice Breaker Exercises, Journaling Workshop, Shortcoming/Strengths Workshop, Letting it Go Stone Workshop, & AA Meetings (Topic, Discussion, Big Book Study & Open Talk).

Meals included: Snack throughout the weekend, Breakfast Sat & Sun, Lunch Sat & Dinner Sat. (Be sure to let us know if you have any food restrictions).

7:00 – 8:00 Introductions, SWAPS exchange, and Open Talk by Facilitator (Snacks provided)

8:00 – 9:30 Workshop: God/Prayer Box & Getting to know each other / Ice Breaker

9:30 Quiet Time

SATURDAY

7:00 – 7:20 Sunrise Meditation on the Beach

8:00 – 9:00 BREAKFAST

9:00 – 10:00 AA Meeting (Topical)

10:00 – 11:30 Workshop: Journaling (Create your own Journal & Journaling Workshop)

11:30 – 12:15 **FREE TIME

12:15 – 1:00 LUNCH

1:00 – 2:30 Workshop: My Character Defects and Assets (Mask Decoration)

2:30 – 4:00 **FREE TIME

4:15 – 4:45 Yoga

5:00 – 6:30 Workshop: Letting Go (Stone Collection and Decoration)

6:30 – 7:15 DINNER

7:30 – 8:30 AA Meeting (Big Book Study)

8:45 – 9:30 Review of the Day. Collect Retreat Evaluations

9:30 – 10:30 Fellowship & Refreshments around the campfire

Free time: Opportunity for rest, private prayer, walks, reading, etc.

**Water, Tea & Coffee will be available throughout the weekend. Bring your own pop & other.

** Snacks will also be available
